What is the difference between free and Pro models in Luren AI?
Pro models are marked PRO ONLY in the model picker and can only be used with a Pro subscription; every other model is open to everyone, paid with coins or a free creation. The Pro models include Google's Nano Banana Pro and OpenAI's GPT Image 2.5. Whichever model you pick, the coin cost depends on the model and the quality, and the app shows it before you generate.
What happens when you tap a Pro model
Without Pro, tapping a Pro model opens a short screen that explains what Pro unlocks, with the option to upgrade or to close it with Maybe Later. Pro members use these models with their plan coins or coins they bought, like any other model.
Models open to everyone
Models anyone can use include Google's Nano Banana, Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana 2.1 and Nano Banana 2 Lite, OpenAI's GPT Image 2, ByteDance's Seedream 4.5 and Seedream 5, and xAI's Grok Imagine. Seedream 4.5 also renders at 4K, so a 4K image doesn't require Pro.
Is a Pro model always better?
Not for every job. The Pro models bring the most detail and the strongest consistency, and they tend to cost more coins per image. For quick ideas a free model is often enough; switch to a Pro model for the version you want to keep.
