Nano Banana 2.1 is Google's update to Nano Banana 2, generally available since 6 October 2026 and the newest Nano Banana in Luren AI. It keeps the speed of a Flash model while improving visual quality, how closely it follows the prompt, text rendering, and keeping a character the same while you edit an image over several turns.
In Luren AI it is open to every user, not only Pro subscribers, at 1K, 2K and 4K. Pick any of 14 shapes, from an 8:1 banner to a 1:8 strip, or match the shape of your photo, and add your own photos as references. Google built it to lay out infographics more accurately and to keep very wide and very tall images clean at 2K and 4K.
