Which format should I use?
JPG for photos you share or print, PNG for screenshots, logos and anything that needs transparency, WebP for websites because it is smaller than both at similar quality.
Does converting reduce quality?
Converting to PNG is lossless. JPG and WebP are compressed; at 90 quality the difference is not visible in normal use.
