Why was my prompt blocked in Luren AI?

Prompts you type are checked by a safety filter before anything is charged, and a prompt that trips it stops with the message "Your prompt was blocked". The filter reacts to words and phrases linked to content the app doesn't allow, and the app suggests avoiding people by name, brand names and sensitive content. Rephrase the prompt and try again; a blocked prompt costs no coins.

What the filter checks

The filter looks at the words in your prompt, so it reacts to wording rather than to what you meant, and an innocent word with a second meaning can trip it. The Terms of Use (linked at the bottom of every page on this site) list what isn't allowed, including nudity and sexually explicit material, violence and gore, and content that impersonates a person.

How to rephrase

  • Swap a word that has a second meaning. For a colour, write "beige" or "sand" rather than a word that also describes bare skin.
  • Leave out the names of real people and brands, and describe the look instead.
  • Describe clothing and scenes plainly, without words that suggest nudity or injury.
  • Remove violent or graphic details that the picture doesn't need.

Refusals after a creation starts

A request can also be refused by the AI model's own safety filter once it has started. That shows as a failed creation in History with a Why? button, and the coins come back automatically: see why a creation can fail.
